Hi, I’m Emily!

I’m a Minnesota-based photographer located in Norwood Young America, just west of the Twin Cities. I grew up on a berry farm, where my love for creativity first began. Ever since I was little, I’ve had a special connection to sunflowers—my grandma lovingly called me “Emily Sunshine,” and that nickname has stayed close to my heart ever since.

My passion for photography started at a young age, simply having fun with a camera. As I grew, so did my love for capturing moments. I spent my teen years competing in 4-H photography at local fairs, which helped shape both my skills and confidence behind the lens. That passion eventually led me to pursue a college degree in photography, turning what I love into a career.

Today, I specialize in photographing families and seniors, creating timeless images that capture genuine moments and lasting memories. I also love working with digital imagery and video using my Canon camera, always striving to bring creativity and authenticity to every session.

In October 2025, I married the love of my life—a truly magical day that reminded me just how important photography is in preserving life’s most meaningful moments.
